ใช้เมื่อต้องการบอกว่า เหตุการณ์ในอดีตกำลังถูกกระทำอยู่ ในช่วงเวลาหนึ่ง
(เน้น "ถูกกระทำ" และ "กำลังดำเนินอยู่" ในอดีต)

1. Active: They were repairing the car.
พวกเขากำลังซ่อมรถ

Passive: The car was being repaired. (by them).
รถกำลังได้รับการซ่อม

2. Active: She was cleaning the room.
เธอกำลังทำความสะอาดห้อง

Passive: The room was being cleaned (by her).

3. Active: People were watching the movie.
